Daniel was born and raised in the surrounding Sacramento region. From the age of four until he
was a Junior in high school, he competed in a variety of sports (Soccer, Swimming, Basketball,
and Football). In his Junior year, he had to make a decision to either continue playing football or become a youth leader in his local church. He made the decision to become a youth leader and really take his relationship with Jesus seriously.
After graduating high school, Daniel took part in a nine-month discipleship program called
Master Commission. He went on to pursue his calling by working with inner-city youths for 9
summers (4 years full time) at Mont Lawn Camp & Retreat Center, in Bushkill, PA, before
returning home to Northern California.
His hobbies include hunting, hiking, fishing, trap shooting, archery, and anything that allows him
to be competitive. Joining the Sacramento FCA team has been an answer to prayer, and he is
excited to walk alongside coaches, students, athletes, and the community.
